Stuart Wright Participates in Geothermal Field Excursion
Stuart Wright has recently participated in the Geothermal Energy Concept for Singapore field excursion organised by South East Asia Petroleum Exploration Society (SEAPEX).
The aim of the excursion was to build on the background and concept of geothermal energy in Singapore and visit localities of interests (Dairy Farm, Little Guillin, Sembawang Hot Springs, Punggol Point).
Leading the excursion was Dr Grahame JH Oliver, a visiting Professor in the National University of Singapore (NUS). He had initiated an interest to investigate the viability of a Geothermal Power System for Singapore and gathered the interest of Singapore based companies to explore the opportunity of renewable clean power generation which has strategic importance for a country that is viewed conventionally as having no natural resources.
